Account & Data Deletion Request

You have the right to delete your account and all personal data associated with the AI OCR — Image Text Scanner app published by TechAppDev. Use this page to submit your request.

Data Stored & What Gets Deleted

  • Account information (email address) — permanently deleted when your account is removed.
  • Images submitted for OCR processing — sent to the Google Gemini API for text extraction; not stored on our servers at any point.
  • Extracted text results — stored locally on your device only; we hold no copy on our servers.
  • Usage analytics — anonymised and cannot be linked back to you; may be retained for product improvement.
  • Crash & diagnostic reports — device model, OS version, and error logs; retained for up to 90 days.

Retention Period

Your account and all identifiable data are permanently deleted within 30 days of your verified request. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

How the Process Works

  3. 3We verify your identity before processing to prevent unauthorised requests.
